The Eyeglass Whisperer
Miriam Butler
Co-founder and licensed optician. For more than 30 years Miriam has been putting frames on people’s faces and hearing the same four words back: those look good on you. Frame Fiesta grew out of the one part of the job she could never accept — watching families compromise on eyewear because of price.
Available for interviews. Portraits below are cleared for editorial use and included in the press kit.
Press release
Download PDFDALLAS, Ga. — Some people have a gift for making others feel more confident.
For more than 30 years, Miriam Butler has been helping people find the pair of glasses that makes them smile the moment they look in the mirror. Friends, family, coworkers, and thousands of customers have watched her do something that almost seems impossible—pick up a frame, place it on someone’s face, and hear the same response over and over:
“Those look good on you.”
It’s why those closest to her jokingly call her “The Eyeglass Whisperer.”
But while Miriam loved helping people look and feel their best, there was one part of the industry she could never get comfortable with. Too often she watched families compromise because of price. Parents would put their own glasses on hold so they could buy for their children. Customers would settle for frames they didn’t love or delay replacing scratched lenses because quality eyewear had become harder to afford.
She believed it didn’t have to be that way.
That belief became Frame Fiesta Eyeglasses, a new locally owned optical store opening in Dallas, Georgia, founded by Miriam and her husband, Frank Butler.
Frame Fiesta was built around one simple idea: everyone deserves access to quality eyewear at honest, transparent prices.
“We’ve never believed people should have to choose between quality and affordability,” said Miriam Butler. “Glasses aren’t a luxury for most people—they’re something they depend on every day. We wanted to create a place where people could walk in knowing they’ll be treated honestly, helped by people who truly care, and leave feeling great about what they’re wearing.”
Miriam brings more than three decades of experience as a licensed optician, while Frank contributes his background in technology, business operations, and entrepreneurship. Together, they set out to rethink the traditional optical experience from the ground up.
Rather than building another optical store that follows the industry’s playbook, they asked a different question:
“If we were starting today, how should buying glasses work?”
The answer became a business that blends personal service with modern technology. Customers can browse online before visiting the store, shop entirely in person, order online for local pickup, replace lenses in their favorite frames, or have completed glasses shipped directly to their home.
Every part of the experience was designed to remove friction and replace confusion with transparency.
“We’re not trying to be the biggest optical company,” said Frank Butler. “We’re trying to build the one we’d want our own family to shop in. Technology should make buying glasses easier, not more confusing. It should help us spend more time helping people instead of selling to them.”
That philosophy extends beyond convenience. Prices are clearly displayed. Customers can compare options without hidden surprises, and the focus stays where Miriam believes it belongs—finding glasses people love wearing, not simply making a sale.
Frame Fiesta also reflects a larger vision: bringing innovation to an industry that has remained largely unchanged for decades while preserving something technology can never replace—a genuine human connection.
“Our dream isn’t just to sell glasses,” Miriam said. “It’s to help people see clearly, feel confident, and know they were treated with honesty and respect. If someone walks out our door smiling because they love the way they look, we’ve done our job.”
To celebrate its Grand Opening, Frame Fiesta Eyeglasses will welcome the Dallas community with special promotions, giveaways, and the opportunity to experience a different approach to buying eyewear.
